About the Library

Collegedale Public Library is a valuable community resource, providing materials, information, services and programs to support and enrich lives and to promote lifelong learning and the enjoyment of reading. Located at 9318 Apison Pike, adjacent to Collegedale City Hall and the Imagination Station playground, the Library is open seven days a week: Mondays-Thursdays 10-7, Fridays 10-5, Saturday and Sundays 1-5.

Collegedale Public Library has been a supported service of the City of Collegedale since August 15, 2011. Anyone who was previously registered at the Ooltewah/Collegedale Branch must re-register for a new library card.

Identification and proof of current address are required when registering for a library card, which is available at no cost to Collegedale residents (their property taxes fund the Library) and for a fee to non-residents.

Non-resident library card fees per year are: $60/individual; $85/family; $50/senior; $65/senior family.
It is not necessary to have a library card to use materials in the library or to attend programs, and a guest number for computer use in available for $1 for 2 hours.
