Local Author Visit – Steve Croy

Friends of the Collegedale Library present Steve Croy as this months Local Author. Steve has published 14 novels that are available on Amazon. A U.S. Army veteran and retired software engineer, he now lives in Birchwood, Tennessee. He will be discussing his book Way of the Snake.

During the 1850s, San Francisco became home to a vast number of immigrants who flocked to California from as far away as Australia. In 1852 alone, more than 20,000 Chinese filed through customs. They worked in the mines and fields and helped build the First Transcontinental Railroad. In Way of the Snake, follow the tale of four Chinese brothers as they face the challenge of forging better lives in their new land.
