Solar Eclipse Viewing Party

We will celebrate our partial view of the solar eclipse here in Eastern Tennessee at the library. Participants will receive a pair of solar eclipse viewing glasses (funded by a NASA STEM grant) with an informational handout on safe viewing practices. The community is also invited to enjoy “celestial” snacks, check out some “out of this world” books and create some awesome souvenirs: galaxy jars, commemorative April 2024 Eclipse buttons and velvet bookmarks with silver sun charms.
